Tyler Alexander Biography

Raised in a small town of America’s heartland, Tyler Alexander has been influenced by the very best that America and Country Music have to offer. His pride and dedication to both can be perceived in every performance. Fans have followed Tyler for the better part of twelve years, as he performed from local events to international competitions.

Tyler has performed and won most recently at competitions such as; Illinois Country Music Association (ICMA) Best New Male Vocalists of the Year 2001; and International North American Country Music Association (INACMA) Most Promising Male Vocalist (held at Louise Mandrell Theater, Pigeon Forge, TN) 2002.

Tyler has also been fortunate enough to open for such Country Stars as Blake Shelton and Chad Brock. His experience working with proven stars has strengthened his desire to give his best to Country Music and it’s fans. His dedication to his fans can best be seen by some of his most recent touring requirements that took him from Florida, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, New Mexico, Wyoming, Texas, Georgia, and Virginia. A highlight for Tyler both personally and career wise was experienced on May 9th, 2003 as he performs at the Ryman Auditorium (the original Grand Old Opry).

Tyler has signed with JD Jam Music Management, which has the distinction of having Mr. James Mc Manus (previously the CEO for Radio City Music Hall), and Mr. Joe Danna (also previously of Radio City Music Hall). Tyler also works with Acclaim Records, which enjoys the pleasure of having as Vice-President Mr. Andre Dawson (The Hawk). Through the efforts of these organizations and Tyler’s desire to expand upon his current career, Tyler has collaborated with Mr. Charlie Craig (Country Music Grammy Nominee). Their recent collaborations are due for release as new singles to radio on May 1st, 2003. ‘Because Of You’ and ‘Lonely Don’t Get Lonelier’ were both written and produced by Charlie Craig for Tyler Alexander.
